刚刚在TechCrunch上面看到，Scribd得到了300K美金的天使投资。看看对于Scribd的恰当描述吧：Scribd is most easily described as a text version of YouTube.(被描述为文字版的Youtube)。
Scribd也是一个社会化网络，可以让你去标记，共享，注释那些上传的文档，格式包括：doc, pdf, txt, ppt, xls, ps, lit。
不过虽然这么说，但是Scribd并不是像很多国内公司一样去全面克隆Youtube，而是在借鉴其基本理念的同时针对文档的特点做出了很多非常独特的改善，包括：可在上传和下载中改变原始的文件类型；文档可以被嵌入任意的网页中；其中我感觉最独特的就是"Scribd’s text-to-speech package"，这个功能包可以将文档下载为mp3格式文件，并且可以以有些颤抖的英国口音将你的文档读出来！！！(downloadable example here)
看来就算同样看到一个好的Idea去模仿，但最终获益的还是那些善于想象/勤奋的人，而不是只会一味模仿的人呀！！赫赫~~

PS：看起来也许真正的全新的音乐发行并且是全面市场化的商业模式已经开始发展了，对于音乐来说，只有听众才是价值。不过似乎这并不能很好的避免炒作吧？

Joost:

Joost is beta test phase now, The original name is "Venice Project", he compatible almost all of the stream's major types. He is P2P tech too, can delivery the encrypted data stream; can adjust the bitrate to match your bandwidth. Joost's another point is allow you upload/download your content by yourself.
Presently，Joost is not very big/public, but the content is very good feeling in some portion. And his funder(Friis and Zennstrom) also positive contact with major media company.
Joost's content is very vivid, but also pool. He public 23 channels, include some business channel, but one of them can be view finity. He have some music channel and plan to add Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Diddy Channel, Atlantic Street and so on. Joost's user interface is different with common. It default by the maximum size on your desktop when you run it, and the button is showed when mouse move to anywhere on your screen. His control is very easily：play, pause, fast on and volumn control. you also can easy to change your current channel or switch to another program. Joost also provide the search box, allow users to search the specified program to watchl.

The most different of Joost is gadget, It's also distinguish things into others. Babel Gum

It is another powerful iptv programming. The funder is Silvio Scaglia(He is very famous in italy) Of course, He is not popular as Joost. He has office in 4 country.
Now, Babel Gum's content is some pool, only have 9 channels and the most of them is avocation or free. Babel Gum has a news channel, mainly to provide U.N.S. Other way, it has comic channel and blog channel(? video blog?). Babel Gum try to attract CP(content provider) to join in, hold out "Babel Gum is satisfactional platform of CP's", and It's also avocation content's. But it can't attract the major media company.

ZATTOO

Be compared with above two, ZATTOO is defferent on developing the iptv's scope. It's only public in Switzerland. It's seemed more like a real broadcasting service.
Zattoo have very vivid contents about 40 channels. Zattoo plan to subscribe the protocol with the CP and extand the business to more country. Zattoo's content is the most provided by BBC, CNN, Canale 5, Viva and Italia 1.
Zattoo's ui is very simple, common and more look like as Windows/Mac's software. Because Zattoo is provide the TV Program actually, so not to provide the video controller. channel bwroser is at the side of the program, easy like others and control with facility.
At present, It hard to decide who is winner. Joost has the best tech, but Babelgum's service is well so. Zattoo has the best of contents. IPTV's macket is more and more flourish, and the new company is pop also.
